Morocco’s Taghazout Ranks Among Top 5 Beach Destinations for Digital Nomads

Taghazout, a fishing village located on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, north of Agadir, known for its surfing beaches, is in the top 5 best global beach destinations for remote workers. This is revealed by a study conducted by a specialized website.
The experts from the Remote website have conducted a new study on the world’s best beach destinations for remote workers. They note that Google searches for the terms "Remote jobs" and "Remote hiring" increased by 72% and 133% respectively over the past year. The study ranks the top 10 beach destinations for remote workers based on the size of the regional population, average internet speed, sunshine hours, visa requirements, entertainment options, average rental costs, cost of living, and crime rates.
With an average monthly rent of £123.89 (MAD 1,525) and an average cost of living of £324.37 (MAD 3,994) per person, Taghazout ranks fifth among the 10 best global beach destinations for remote workers, ahead of St. George’s (Bermuda), Goa (India), Flic en Flac (Mauritius), Bridgetown (Barbados) and Noord (Aruba). This Moroccan village has the second lowest monthly cost of living after Goa. According to the study’s authors, Taghazout "is ideal for remote workers as they can avoid the additional stress that financial concerns and a high cost of living can bring".
Brades (Montserrat) tops the ranking, followed by The Valley (Anguilla), Zadar (Croatia) and Lagos (Portugal).
