Morocco to Supply Gabon with Locally Produced COVID-19 Vaccines

During his recent visit to Morocco, Gabonese President Ali Bongo Ondimba and King Mohammed VI discussed the possibility for Gabon to be the first country to benefit from the anti-Covid-19 vaccines that will be produced in Morocco.
Gabon will be able to count on Morocco to boost the vaccination campaign against Covid-19. By the end of this year, the kingdom plans to launch the production of 5 million doses of the Sinopharm vaccine per month.
Morocco plans to launch the production of anti-Covid vaccines in Casablanca, at the end of this year 2021. It will be intended for the national market, but also for African countries, and Gabon has positioned itself as the first country to be able to benefit from it, reports maghreb-intelligence.com.
According to the same source, following the exchanges between President Bongo and King Mohammed VI, an official delegation of Gabonese specialists is expected in Morocco on November 25 to study the details and technical aspects of this aspect of their collaboration.
