The final deadline to complete the online declaration requirement is set for Monday, March 2, 2020, according to the tax authorities.
The online declaration requirement applies to both tenants and landlords. The date originally set for February 29 for this procedure has been postponed to March 2, as the final deadline coincides with a weekend this year.
The measure applies exclusively to individuals renting out a property to legal entities or individuals whose professional income is determined under the actual or simplified net regime. Lease contracts between individuals are therefore excluded, explains L’Economiste.
