Morocco Set to Reopen Borders on June 11 with Health Requirements

Morocco could reopen its skies in the coming days. The kingdom is increasingly easing its health restrictions.
Morocco should reopen its borders on June 11, 2021, reports Atlas info. The presentation of a health pass and a PCR test will be required for travelers. On Monday, the government took new measures to ease the health restrictions adopted to curb the spread of the coronavirus and its variants in the kingdom. These measures came into effect on Tuesday, June 1.
Gatherings and activities bringing together less than 50 people indoors and less than 100 people outdoors are now allowed, according to a government statement. Event venues are also allowed to reopen, provided they do not exceed 50% of their capacity, without however receiving more than 100 people. Public pools are also allowed to reopen, provided they are limited to 50% of their capacity. In case of exceeding the numbers and rates mentioned above, prior authorization is required.
King Mohammed VI had earlier on Monday ordered the reopening of mosques, which had remained closed for several months.
