Morocco Set to Receive AstraZeneca Vaccine Doses Next Week, Expanding COVID-19 Immunization Efforts

After the delivery of the first batches of the Sinopharm vaccine, Morocco should receive the first doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine starting January 12, the launch date of the vaccination campaign in India.
Since the authorization for the marketing of the AstraZeneca vaccine on January 6, the laboratory officials have been working to transport the vaccines to Morocco. The reception of this precious liquid depends on the start of the vaccination campaign in India, where the local manufacturing laboratory is located, according to Médias24.
According to a source close to the laboratory, delivery to third countries like Morocco should be done after the start of local vaccination campaigns in these countries. "Otherwise their public opinion would not understand," she said.
