Morocco Set to Announce Border Reopening Decision Within Days, Says Government Spokesman
The decision to open or not the Moroccan borders will be taken in the next few days, just affirmed the government spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas.
Speaking at the press conference held after the work of the government council, Baitas said that the executive has dwelled a lot on the issue of the reopening of the borders, closed for almost two months.
According to the minister, the government has taken into account the many calls from economic operators and the different and multiple views of scientists. "The government is bringing up all the data related to this issue, whether it is the epidemiological situation or the economic situation," he stressed.
He added that the discussions will continue over the next 2 days before a new decision is made in the coming days.
In conclusion, no measure of opening or extending the closure of borders has been taken. We will have to wait before deciding.
