Morocco Sees 6.4% Rise in COVID-19 Cases, Officials Urge Vigilance

After a few days of calm, Covid-19 infection cases have increased by 6.4% over the past two weeks in Morocco. The announcement was made on Tuesday in Rabat by the head of the communicable diseases division at the Directorate of Epidemiology and Disease Control, Abdelkrim Meziane Belfquih.
During the presentation of the biweekly assessment of the epidemiological situation in the Kingdom, the official explained that the situation requires more vigilance and compliance with preventive measures to maintain the gains. The ongoing vaccination campaign must not lead to a relaxation of preventive measures.
