Morocco to Resume International Flights on June 15 as Travel Restrictions Ease

The Directorate of Civil Aviation has decided to resume commercial flights at the kingdom’s airports starting June 15, following the extension of the state of health emergency by the Moroccan government until the 10th of the same month.
While the reopening of borders and the resumption of international flights are the responsibility of the country’s authorities, the date of the resumption of flights is the responsibility of the aviation directorate, for technical and commercial considerations.
In May, the same body was considering resuming flights on the 31st. But the extension of the state of health emergency until June 10 forced it to postpone the date.
In Morocco, we are moving towards the gradual lifting of the state of health emergency after the deconfinement of June 10, by authorizing the reopening of borders and the resumption of maritime and air services, with the exception of certain destinations where the epidemiological situation is not yet stable.
