Morocco Restricts Bus Travel to Dakhla Region Amid COVID-19 Spike

The provincial director of equipment and transport in Dakhla called on the heads of passenger transport companies to suspend all trips to the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region. This measure came into effect on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.
In a letter addressed to the heads of passenger transport companies, the director explained that this measure aims to curb the spread of the coronavirus in the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region. In any case, 44 cases of coronavirus contamination were recorded in 24 hours from Sunday to Monday in the said region.
Update: only bus travelers are prohibited, those arriving by plane are allowed to enter.
