Morocco Reports Surge in Coronavirus Cases, Death Toll Rises to 26

16 new cases of contamination were recorded in Morocco last night, Sunday March 29, 2020, bringing the total to 479 infected people.
According to the Ministry of Health, the number of deaths due to the coronavirus is now 26, while the number of people declared cured is 13.
Furthermore, the total number of cases excluded after negative analysis results carried out in the laboratory is 1794, it is noted.
Regarding the new distribution map, the city of Casablanca-Settat is in the lead with 139 cases. It is followed by Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (84), Fès-Meknès (87), Marrakech-Safi (82), Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima (36).
The Oriental region now has 16 cases, followed by Souss-Massa (14), Béni Mellal-Khénifra (12), Daraa-Tafilalet (8) and Guelmim-Oued Noun (1).
For the moment, no cases have been reported in the regions of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab and Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra.
