Morocco Reports Lowest COVID-19 Cases Since April, Easing Lockdown Possible

Are we finally witnessing the long-awaited decline by the authorities? In the last 24 hours, the number of people infected with the coronavirus in Morocco is the lowest recorded since April 1st.
Morocco has seen 45 new covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours, the lowest figure since April 1st, when 37 people were affected by the virus.
These good figures, if confirmed, could allow the authorities to ease the lockdown imposed about two months ago and which is theoretically due to end on May 20th. Faced with the worrying increase in recent days, the authorities had decided to crack down by blocking several neighborhoods in Casablanca, Rabat and even Tangier.
For this Friday, the details published by the Ministry of Health show 25 new infections in the Casablanca region, 8 in Tangier, 5 in Fez-Meknes, 3 in Souss, 2 in Marrakech and two others in Rabat.
