Morocco Reports 50 COVID-19 Deaths in 24 Hours, Total Fatalities Rise to 5,789

The coronavirus caused 50 deaths in the last 24 hours in Morocco, announces the Ministry of Health, bringing the number of deaths to 5,789 since last March.
The Greater Casablanca-Settat region has 17 deaths, all in Casablanca. It is followed by Rabat-Salé-Kénitra and the Oriental region, each with 6 deaths. Rabat, Salé, Khémisset, Sidi Kacem and Sidi Slimane recorded 2, 1, 1, 1 and 1 deaths respectively, against 3 deaths in Berkane, 2 in Oujda and 1 in Nador.
As for Fès-Meknès, it reports 5 deaths, including 3 in Fès and 2 in Meknès. Then come Marrakech-Safi and Guelmin-Oued Noun, each announcing 4 deaths. El Kelâa des Sraghna has 2 deaths against 1 in Marrakech and 1 in Chichaoua, while Guelmin and Tan Tan recorded 3 and 1 deaths respectively.
In the Souss-Massa region, the coronavirus caused 3 deaths, including 2 in Inezgane-Ait Melloul and 1 in Tata. As for Béni Mellal-Khénifra, it recorded 2 deaths, including 1 in Fquih Ben Salah and 1 in Azilal. As for Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, Daraâ-Tafilalet and Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, they each announce 1 death, respectively in Al Hoceima, Errachidia and Oued Ed-Dahab.
