Morocco Reports 57 COVID-19 Deaths in 24 Hours, Fatalities Declining

The number of deaths due to coronavirus has been declining for a few days. 57 people died from Covid in 24 hours, bringing the number of deaths to 5,846 since the start of the epidemic in March last year in Morocco.
In the Greater Casablanca-Settat region, there are 11 deaths, including 9 in Casablanca, 1 in Benslimane and 1 in Sidi Bennour. It is followed by Souss-Massa and the Oriental, each with 10 deaths. While Inezgane-Ait Melloul, Taroudant, Tiznit and Chtouka-Ait Baha record 3, 2, 3 and 2 deaths respectively, Oujda-Angad announces 3 deaths against 3 in Guercif, 2 in Nador and 2 in Berkane.
Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima and Marrakech-Safi each report 6 deaths. There are 3 deaths in Tétouan against 1 in Ouezzane, 1 in Larache and 1 in Al Hoceima. As for Marrakech, Essaouira and El Kelâa des Sraghna, they record 4, 1 and 1 deaths respectively.
In the Fez-Meknes region, there are 5 deaths, including 2 in Sefrou, 2 in Meknes and 1 in Taza. Then comes Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, which announces 2 deaths in Salé, 1 in Kénitra, and 1 in Khémisset. In the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region, 3 people died from coronavirus with 1 in Khourigba, 1 in Béni Mellal and 1 in Azilal. Daraâ-Tafilalet and Guelmin-Oued Noun each record 1 death respectively in Midelt and Guelmin.
