Morocco Reports 17 Coronavirus Cases, Most in Good Health

The director of epidemiology at the Ministry of Health, Mohamed El Youbi, assured on Saturday that the 15 cases tested positive in Morocco are in good health.
With the exception of one case, whose health condition can be described as "moderate," the other patients are in good health. According to the director of the epidemic, the nine cases confirmed on Saturday bring the total number of people affected by this virus in Morocco to 17, including one deceased lady and one man who has recovered.
Regarding their nationality, the health official noted that 11 infected people are Moroccan, while the other six are French.
Furthermore, 10 positive cases are male and 7 are female. Regarding the average age of all cases, it is 51 years old, including a 9-month-old baby, considered the youngest case, compared to an 89-year-old lady (deceased), as the maximum age.
On Saturday evening, March 14, 2020, the Minister of Transport and Equipment tested positive, upon return from an official mission in Europe.
