Morocco Reports 201 Critical COVID-19 Cases as Health Authorities Intensify Efforts

Of the 13,994 patients cared for in Moroccan hospitals or at home, 201 people are in serious condition, including 59 under artificial respiration.
This rise in serious cases is worrying the health authorities. They are multiplying awareness-raising actions and strengthening security measures in the regions in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
After the record number of deaths recorded on Tuesday, August 18 (+33), 29 patients have succumbed to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths nationwide to 743.
In addition, 574 new recoveries have been recorded. Since last March, 31,576 have left the various hospitals of the Kingdom.
