Morocco Reports 196 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Infections Rise to 12,248

Some 196 people have been infected with the coronavirus since last night in Morocco, the Ministry of Health announced during its twice-daily conference. Since the appearance of the first case in March, 12,248 people have been affected by covid-19.
Here are the regions that recorded cases this Monday, June 29 in Morocco:
• Casablanca-Settat: +14
• Tanger Tetouan Al Hoceima: +62
• Rabat Salé Kenitra: +142
• Marrakech Safi: +13
• Fès-Meknès: +19
• Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra: +67
• Oriental: +3
• Beni Mellal-Khénifra: +1
Here are the other figures to remember:
• Three deaths were recorded. Total to 224. Fatality rate at 1.83%
• 4,328 tests. Total to 638,471.
• 143 under treatment. Total to 3,234.
• 50 new recoveries. Total to 8,790.
The ministry, once again, calls on Moroccans to respect the rules of hygiene and health safety as well as the preventive measures issued by the authorities.
