Morocco Reports 1,018 New COVID-19 Cases, Total Surpasses 30,000

Covid-19 has infected 1,018 more people in the last 24 hours in Morocco, according to figures released by the Ministry of Health, bringing the total since the start of the coronavirus epidemic to 30,662.

Note that the government has just tightened its legal arsenal with regard to compliance with measures against the virus. From now on, any person not wearing a protective mask will have to pay an on-the-spot fine of 300 dirhams.
