Morocco Reportedly Developing Kamikaze Drones with Israeli Aerospace Firm

Morocco would have decided to embark on the development of kamikaze drones, in collaboration with an Israeli group.
These kamikaze drones are "relatively simple to build and have devastating consequences," informs Africa Intelligence, without providing further details on their specifications or price.

This kamikaze drone development activity was launched in Morocco after several months of negotiations with the Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) group, the same source believes, specifying that it is the subsidiary of this group, BlueBird Aero Systems, which will be responsible for the manufacture of these drones.
The Moroccan authorities have not yet made any official announcement on this subject. But several media, particularly Israeli ones, had already announced since the beginning of this year that Morocco would have placed orders for the acquisition of Israeli drones, recalls the same source.

With the resumption of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the order was apparently abandoned in favor of the manufacture of drones on site in Morocco, in collaboration with the Israeli group. A military cooperation facilitated by the adoption in the Council of Ministers on June 28 last, of the implementing decree No. 2.21.405 of law 10.20 relating to defense and security materials and equipment, weapons and ammunition. This text sets the procedures for the manufacture, trade, import, export, transport and transit of military materials and equipment.
