Morocco Reportedly Acquires Molnupiravir, Merck’s Anti-Covid Pill

Like several European countries, Morocco is said to have already acquired Molnupiravir anti-Covid-19 pills to strengthen its efforts to fight the pandemic, in parallel with the vaccination campaign.
Has Molnupiravir, the antiviral from the American laboratory Merck against Covid-19, made its way to Morocco? Many people have been wondering since the announcement that this drug has the ability to prevent severe forms of the disease and, above all, since countries have decided to place their first orders.
While no official information has been given on the subject, sources report that the kingdom would also have opted for the therapeutic treatment of Covid-19.
Thus, the Scientific Committee for the Management of Covid-19 is said to have given its approval for the use of this drug, and some claim that the kingdom has even already acquired it, with a view to changing its health protocol.
It should be remembered that this drug has proven its effectiveness, mainly in preventing severe forms of the disease.
