Morocco Repatriates 304 Citizens from Turkey Amid Ongoing COVID-19 Evacuations

The return of Moroccans stranded abroad continues in compliance with the health measures taken by the government. The kingdom has again repatriated, on Tuesday, 304 people from Turkey.
The Marrakech-Menara International Airport has mobilized its staff to welcome these special passengers transported by two Royal Air Maroc flights. Each plane carried 151 and 153 passengers from Istanbul. This brings the total number of citizens repatriated via Marrakech-Menara Airport on 12 flights to 1,854.
Upon arrival, all passengers were taken to the hotel complex reserved for their quarantine. It should be recalled that some 1,550 citizens have already returned to the Kingdom through the airport platform of the ochre city, last Friday and Saturday, on flights from the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Ivory Coast, Senegal and Germany.
