Morocco to Repatriate ISIS Wives and Children from Syrian Detention Camps

The Moroccan women of ISIS, detained in Syria, will soon be repatriated to Morocco for humanitarian reasons. This is the decision of Abdelhak Al Khayam, Director of the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ).
Morocco has responded favorably to the request of several Moroccan women detained by the Kurds of the Syrian Democratic Forces, reports the newspaper Al Ahdath Al Maghribia.
These women and their children, who are exposed to various diseases, will be able to return to Morocco in the very near future.
The Joint Commission for the Defense of Islamist Detainees welcomed this announcement made by Abdelhak Al Khayam, Director of the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ). The researcher on Islamist movements, Abdallah Rami, recalled that Morocco has never refused the return or reception of jihadists who have fought alongside ISIS in areas of tension abroad.
The statistics of the BCIJ testify to this: more than 200 Moroccan fighters in Syria and Iraq have already returned to Morocco.
He also indicated that the repatriated persons constitute a mine of information for Morocco, which learns more about the terrorist groups to which they had belonged.
After the request of the Moroccan female combatants detained in Syria, the Moroccan authorities had indeed initiated negotiations with the Kurds for the repatriation of 25 Moroccans suffering from depression and serious injuries.
