Morocco Reopens to French RV Travelers as Tourism Rebounds

After several months of travel restrictions, motorhome activity is resuming in Morocco. Friendly atmosphere, climate, lifestyle and tourism, purchasing power, French professionals in the sector are full of praise for the kingdom, expressing their joy at a return to normal.
According to travel agencies, motorhome enthusiasts are resuming the road to Morocco this winter. For two years, health measures on both sides of the Mediterranean have caused the interruption of crossings. But since then, the situation has improved, reports lemondeducampiongcar.fr.
This year it’s back to normal, said the Viajes Normandie agency. "It’s almost like before Covid. We are offering crossings between Spain and Morocco again, with an Open return. The Tarifa-Tangier or Algeciras-Ceuta ferries are therefore operational again," it explained.
"It seems we can buy open tickets (without a return date) again and just need an up-to-date health pass," said motorhome enthusiasts, regular travelers to Morocco (EDITOR’S NOTE: the health pass is no longer mandatory to enter Morocco). Another interlocutor, Patrick Thellier, founder of Thellier Voyages: "I’m accompanying a group next week. Send me a text, I’ll tell you how it’s going."
For this resumption of the crossing, travel agencies specializing in motorhomes are offering circuit offers. This is the case of the French agencies Orcada which is organizing a New Year’s Eve in Morocco, and Cap Latitude a group trip in February.
