Morocco Reopens Borders with Strict COVID-19 Entry Requirements

After two months of complete closure due to the surge in Covid-19 cases, Morocco is reopening its airspace to foreign travelers this Monday. However, there are still many restrictive conditions.
According to the new health protocol published by the Ministry of Health, any traveler wishing to enter the national territory must present a Covid-19 vaccination pass and the negative result of a PCR test taken less than 48 hours (time between sampling and registration).
Upon arrival on Moroccan territory, rapid antigen tests will be systematically carried out "at the entry points" as well as "random samples for random PCR tests", the ministry indicates. If the person is asymptomatic or has a mild condition, home self-isolation or hotel isolation is planned, depending on the national protocol in force, if the person is a tourist.
As for children, no access condition is applied for those under 6 years old. For children aged 6 and under 18, the only access condition is the presentation of a negative PCR test dated less than 48 hours, in addition to a rapid antigen test upon arrival.
