Morocco to Reopen Borders as Tourism Industry Pledges Compliance with Entry Measures

Morocco will reopen its borders on February 7. Delighted, tourism professionals have agreed, in return, to comply with the measures taken for access to Morocco.
This commitment was made during a meeting with the supervising minister, Fatim Zahra Ammor, reports the MAP, adding that the professionals expressed their full involvement in the government measures that have been taken and their willingness to implement the necessary actions for the successful relaunch of tourism activity.
Specifically, for the professionals, represented by the National Confederation of Tourism, the National Federation of the Hotel Industry (FNIH) and the National Federation of Travel Agencies, it is to get vaccinated, and to ensure that all their staff have received the third recommended dose.
It was also agreed during this meeting that Covid-19 screening tests will be carried out for tourists in tourist accommodation establishments, 48 hours after their entry into the national territory.
