Morocco to Receive 1.25 Million COVID Vaccine Doses, Including Pfizer for Teens

New deliveries of one million doses of Sinopharm vaccines and 250,000 doses of Pfizer/BioNtech are expected in Morocco by August 20.
This new batch of 250,000 doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine is expected this Wednesday, according to the Ministry of Health, which states that the batch comes in addition to the 600,000 doses received last Friday by the Moroccan health authorities.
The same source indicates that on the same date, Morocco will receive a new delivery of one million doses of the Sinopharm vaccine.
This vaccine will be dedicated to the youngest, in principle those aged 12 to 17, as Pfizer is internationally recognized for the youngest. The population of 12-17 year olds is around 3 million people. In total, 6 million doses will be needed.
Note that as of Monday, August 17, the vaccination operation has impacted 16,493,799 for the first dose and 11,640,441 for the second.
