Morocco Reaffirms COVID-19 Funeral Restrictions, Limiting Attendees to 10

The measures relating to funerals enacted as part of the fight against Covid-19 are still in force. This is the message sent by the Moroccan Ministry of the Interior as a reminder.
In a statement, the Ministry of the Interior called on Moroccans to continue to respect the measures put in place to curb the spread of Covid-19 and preserve the health of all, with regard to burials and other ceremonies.
Specifically, it is a matter of limiting the number of people to a maximum of 10 for a burial ceremony. These provisions prohibit the organization of funerals in the kingdom. The ministry appeals to the sense of responsibility of each person in order to succeed in the fight against this pandemic and give meaning to all the efforts made for more than a year for a return to normal life.
