Morocco Prints 500,000 Qurans for Domestic and International Distribution

The Mohammed VI Foundation for the Publication of the Holy Quran has announced the printing of some 500,000 copies of the Quran, in all its forms and sizes. They will be distributed to Muslims in Morocco and elsewhere.
At a total cost of nearly 22 million dirhams, this order is ensured by the Moroccan authorities, reports Maghreb Intelligence, adding that the delivery will be made in four batches.
It should be recalled that the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Publication of the Holy Quran, created by King Mohammed VI, is a non-profit organization with legal personality and financial autonomy. It is the only institution authorized to publish the holy book in all its forms.
In addition to the exclusivity it holds for the printing of the Holy Quran, it is involved in the preservation and promotion of Moroccan traditions as well as in regular donations to Muslim places of worship in several African countries.
