Morocco’s Prime Minister El Othmani Resigns as Party Leader After Election Defeat

The Head of Government, Saad-Eddine El Othmani, announced on Thursday his resignation from the post of Secretary of the Justice and Development Party (PJD). He was followed by all the other members of the general secretariat. A collective resignation that follows the failure recorded by the PJDists in the legislative elections of September 8.
