Morocco’s Prime Minister Condemns ’Odious’ Murder of Scandinavian Tourists

Prime Minister Saâdeddine El Othmani condemned on Thursday in Rabat the abject crime that cost the lives of two Scandinavian tourists near Imlil.
"Morocco, in all its components, strongly condemns this odious crime, a rejected act that goes against the values and customs of Moroccans as well as the traditions of the region where this crime occurred," said El Othmani, extending his sincere condolences to the families of the two victims and their respective countries.
Describing these criminal acts as a "stab in the back of Morocco and Moroccans," the Prime Minister praised the efforts of the Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ) as well as all the police elements of the Marrakech prefecture, all the authorities, the Royal Gendarmerie and the auxiliary forces.
Saâdeddine El Othmani also stated that the details of this crime will be known shortly and that the competent authorities will inform the national and international public opinion of any developments concerning this case.
