Morocco Prepares Repatriation Plans for Citizens Stranded Abroad, PM Says

The Head of Government, Saâdeddine El Otmani affirmed, on Wednesday, May 20 in Rabat, that the scenarios for the repatriation of Moroccans stranded abroad were "ready".
"The scenarios relating to this file are ready and I hope that the good news will be announced soon," El Othmani said during a plenary session of the House of Representatives. On this occasion, the presentation of the head of government on "the management of confinement for the post-May 20 period" was the subject of discussion.
He acknowledged that Moroccans stranded abroad have the right to return to the country, assuring that the government has been working on all repatriation scenarios since the beginning of the crisis.
Similarly, the government council has taken all the necessary arrangements so that the repatriation operations are organized under the best conditions, and in compliance with the barrier measures to avoid the spread of the coronavirus.
