Morocco Prepares to Launch Nationwide COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign

A few days before the launch of the anti-Covid-19 vaccination campaign in Morocco, a Moroccan doctor shared details of the program set up by the Ministry of Health in Casablanca.
In a Facebook post, Dr. Mounir Lahlou announced: "I am very honored to be one of the doctors appointed by the Ministry of Health to supervise the vaccination operation, the launch of which will be given on December 4."
While calling on citizens to participate massively in the campaign, in order to be able to put an end to this pandemic, the health professional stressed that the ministry plans to vaccinate an average of 1,000 people per day.
Qualified as a public service, the anti-Covid-19 vaccination will be accessible to all Moroccans and foreigners residing in Morocco, knowing that priority will be given to security services, health personnel, the elderly and/or people with chronic diseases. To this end, 2,880 centers will be dedicated to this national operation, as announced by the Minister of Health Khalid Ait Taleb.
