Morocco’s Political Parties Spent 116 Million Dirhams in 2018, Court of Auditors Reports

The Court of Auditors revealed the expenses incurred by political parties in 2018. They amounted to 116.87 million dirhams (MDH) in 2018 compared to 138.43 MDH in 2017 and 417.99 MDH in 2016, the Court of Auditors said, while stressing that 86.71% of the total of these expenses were made by seven parties.
These amounts committed by seven political parties during 2018 were for various expenses such as management expenses amounting to 97.80 MDH, compared to 94.63 MDH in 2017 and 93.98 MDH in 2016.
There are also those related to the organization of national congresses for an amount of 9.84 MDH, compared to 30.56 MDH in 2017 and 25.24 MDH in 2016, as well as those devoted to the acquisition of fixed assets for an amount of 9.23 MDH, compared to 13.24 MDH in 2017 and 25.24 MDH in 2016, specifies the MAP citing the Court of Auditors.
