Morocco’s PJD Party Praises Hamas Attack on Israel as "Heroic Operation"

The surprise offensive of the Palestinian Hamas movement is eliciting reactions from the Party of Justice and Development (PJD). The party led by former Moroccan Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirane hails it as a "heroic operation".
On Saturday, Hamas launched the "Al-Aqsa Torrent" operation from Gaza against Israel before 6:30 am (3:30 am GMT). In total, more than "5,000 rockets" were fired. This "heroic operation carried out by the Palestinian resistance is a natural and legitimate reaction to the daily violations perpetrated by the Zionist enemy and to the extremist racist policy of the Zionist government, as well as to the acts of intrusion and desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by the settlers and Zionist officials, in the complicit silence of the world," the PJD said in a statement. In the eyes of the Islamist party, resistance to occupation, in all its forms, is a legitimate right guaranteed by divine laws and international agreements.
"The Palestinian people must obtain their natural right to establish their independent Palestinian state with the noble Al-Quds as its capital," insisted the Lamp party, calling on all Palestinians and all Palestinian factions, without exception, to unify their positions at this critical time, in order to support the "Al-Aqsa Torrent" operation, but also the Arab, Islamic countries and the defenders of freedom around the world to adopt firm positions to "deter the Zionist entity" and "the extremist Zionist government", and to exert pressure on them, in order to make them comply with legitimate international decisions.
The PJD also pledges to participate in all demonstrations organized by entities that support the Palestinian struggle. In this sense, it calls on its activists to mobilize. "The real terrorism is that perpetrated incessantly by the racist Zionist occupation, under the eyes of the world and with the support of the great powers," the Islamists believe.
