Morocco Partners with Israel to Manufacture Combat Drones in $3 Billion Defense Deal

Morocco is preparing to manufacture combat drones, as part of a military agreement with Israel.
Israel has concluded military agreements worth more than $3 billion (over 33 billion dirhams) with three Arab countries, including Morocco, to build two drone manufacturing plants, reports The Wall Street Journal, noting that the agreement with Morocco will allow it to manufacture drones for combat and remote intelligence gathering.
Morocco has also planned to acquire ten Israeli drones as part of this military agreement, which will also allow the transfer of Israeli war technology, according to Israeli sources to the American newspaper. Morocco also aims to strengthen its air force with a squadron of helicopters for transport and reconnaissance. An international tender has already been issued for this purpose.
