Morocco’s Parliament Refutes Claims of Interview with Israeli Media on Relations

The House of Representatives formally denies an interview that Habib El Malki allegedly gave to an Israeli newspaper. The institution declared on Wednesday that these are fabricated allegations intended to harm.
The House of Representatives says it has taken note, with astonishment, of the unfounded information reported by a media about an interview of its president, Habib El Malki, with a "Hebrew" newspaper. In a statement, the institution says it is shocked by the ease with which some amuse themselves by tarnishing the relations between France and Morocco by refusing to convey accurate information to readers.
In reality, during the meeting held by El Malki and the parliamentarians, the emphasis was placed on "the positive climate in which the 4th parliamentary forum was held in Paris, from December 12 to 14, within the framework of the dialogue between the legislative institutions".
The discussions also focused on the preparations for the monthly session dedicated to general policy with the theme "sectoral strategies in the field of industrialization".
During the exchanges, it was also a question of holding an interactive colloquium after the completion of the proposals of the parliamentary groups and the parliamentary group on December 24, the same source specifies.
