Morocco Overhauls Driver’s License System with Digital Tests and Smart Cars

The National Road Safety Agency (Narsa) announced that obtaining a driver’s license will undergo some changes starting this year, in order to improve road safety conditions and the quality of services provided to users and professionals.
Among the changes planned by Narsa, there is the number of possible questions for the theoretical exam which has been increased to 1000, the launch of a digital license, the exam rooms which will be equipped with individual surveillance cameras in order to avoid cheating cases. A distance learning platform is planned. Also, the practical test will be done with a smart car.
Narsa has planned a plan to review the management of driving schools and they will be subject to laws that they will have to respect in order to contribute to the reduction of traffic accidents.
