Holders of rental income can now benefit not only from the exemption from payment of tax, but also from the automatic cancellation of increases, fines and penalties.
The Directorate General of Taxes (DGI) announced this new tax advantage in a press release.
This advantage is guaranteed when the holder files a declaration before July 1, 2020, and spontaneously pays, at the same time as the declaration, a contribution equal to 10% of the gross amount of the rental income relating to the year 2018.
