Morocco’s National Security Denies Suspending Airport Police Officers

The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) refutes and denounces the allegations published by certain national media concerning police officers on duty at Mohammed V airport in Casablanca who would have been suspended.
According to the media that published this information, a total of 17 police officers would have been temporarily suspended from their duties. A disciplinary measure taken by the national security services against these agents, who are accused of serious misconduct in the performance of their duties.
In a press release, "the General Directorate of National Security assures that it has not taken any disciplinary decision against the national security personnel working at the Mohammed V international airport in Casablanca, and that there has been no abuse of function or dispute resulting from the situation of a foreign national traveler, as indicated in the false information."
While refuting these false information, the DGSN stresses that any sanction imposed on an agent for abuse of function will always be published by its own means.
