Morocco’s Military Modernizes: $10 Million Equipment Upgrade Includes New Uniforms and Gear

While the Moroccan special forces soldiers had recently impressed with their very modern look (during Flintlock 2019), the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) continue their shopping.
Four markets totaling approximately 100 million dirhams have just been launched by Army Corps General Abdelfattah Louarak, according to Maghreb Intelligence. The date for the award of these contracts is scheduled for April 18.
The media states: "According to documents consulted by us, the first one concerns the acquisition of multicolored combat uniforms (22.5 million DH), the second concerns the purchase of multicolored parkas (42.4 million DH) while the third is related to lots of boots (22.5 million DH). The army, pampering its men, has not forgotten the belts which will cost it the trifling sum of 3.9 million dirhams."
Let’s hope there will be an improvement in the design, because the equipment of the special forces of the Royal Armed Forces during the Flintlock military exercise had so to speak impressed: Nice tactical and assault vest as well as the Kevlar helmet made in the USA, and M4 assault rifles.
