Morocco Launches Tender for 20-Meter Coastal Research Vessel

Morocco is about to acquire a coastal scientific research vessel. To this end, the National Institute of Fisheries Research (INRH) has launched a tender for its design and construction.
A coastal scientific research vessel for Morocco. This is the ambitious project of the Kingdom. According to the Specifications Booklet (CPS) accompanying the tender of the National Institute of Fisheries Research (INRH), it is a coastal research vessel, measuring 20 meters long by 6.5 meters wide, reports Le360.ma.
The cost of the service is 25 million dirhams. To effectively and efficiently carry out its roles in terms of navigation and prospecting during its missions at sea, and particularly along the Moroccan coastline, the vessel will be made up of a set of elements, components and accessories.
Moreover, the scientific team will be defined according to the missions, indicates the same source. These, on a daily basis, will be ensured by a maximum of 12 people on board, while a maximum of 4 people will carry out those exceeding 24 hours.
The INRH teams will take care of the routine operations of the vessel: the implementation of the deck equipment and the mooring of the towing.
As for the "Catering" service, it will operate on the basis of dishes prepared on land, in order to limit the constraints of culinary preparation on board, details the same source.
