Morocco Launches Mobile Consulate for Diaspora in Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and Haiti

On July 30 and 31, the Moroccan Embassy in Santo Domingo organized a mobile consulate for the Moroccan community established in the Dominican Republic, Venezuela and Haiti. The aim for the diplomatic representation was to facilitate the renewal of the CNIE for these Moroccan nationals.
In a press release, the Moroccan Embassy in Santo Domingo specifies that this initiative aims to improve consular services and bring the Administration closer to its users from the Moroccan diaspora. It stresses that "this operation, which saw massive attendance from our fellow citizens, allowed our expatriate Moroccans to obtain or renew their Moroccan identity document, both adults and Moroccan minors over 12 years of age, established in the three accredited countries."
The Moroccan Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Zakaria El Goumiri, took the opportunity of this operation to remind the members of the community present that this initiative responds to the need to offer a quality and proximity consular service to all Moroccan nationals.
"The assistance, protection, support and defense of the interests of Moroccans residing abroad were a constant commitment on the part of the entire Moroccan diplomatic contingent deployed around the world," he said, recalling how many times, King Mohammed VI cares about the well-being of Moroccans in the world.
