Morocco Launches Mass COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign, 90,000+ Inoculated in First Two Days

More than 90,000 Moroccans have received their first dose of vaccine since the start, on Friday, January 29, of the national vaccination campaign against Covid-19. A feat according to Abdelhamid Hayane, director of the population division within the Ministry of Health.
This figure, according to the official at the Ministry of Health, remains provisional, since those from all regions are not yet available. In total, 1.25 million target people are to be vaccinated free of charge. Abdelhamid Hayane congratulated the work being done on the ground, even if some dysfunctions are noted, but which are not likely to compromise the campaign.
Morocco expects to receive millions of doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. But according to the director of the population division, it is not possible to give a precise date for the delivery of the next vaccines, especially since the exact dates have not yet been defined. Nevertheless, a provisional schedule has been drawn up for the receipt of these batches.
For the protection and health safety of all, Abdelhamid Hayane once again invited Moroccans to continue to show discipline and patriotism for the total success of the vaccination campaign throughout the national territory.
