Morocco Launches Major Healthcare Recruitment Drive Amid COVID-19 Crisis

The Ministry of Health has just launched a major recruitment wave to strengthen its workforce. It is looking for more than a thousand profiles with diverse skills, including 300 doctors.
Recruitment competitions in the civil service are suspended for the most part due to the state of health emergency. That of the Ministry of Health is of paramount importance, due to the health crisis that Morocco is going through. It is essential for the health sector to have human resources to effectively deal with the fight against the coronavirus.
According to le360, the Ministry of Health is currently "looking for 299 first-grade doctors", who can justify their level with the necessary diplomas and under 45 years of age. The same sector is preparing to "also recruit 357 nurses of various specialties, and 271 midwives".
Regarding the category of health executives, "competitions are planned to proceed with the recruitment of 98 technicians, 95 specialists in rehabilitation and about thirty assistants", according to the rules in force in the civil service.
