Morocco Launches Free Nationwide COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign

Morocco will launch the national Covid-19 vaccination campaign this Thursday, January 28. The kickoff will be given by King Mohammed VI.
After several weeks of waiting and following the receipt of doses from the Sinopharm and AstraZeneca laboratories, the kingdom has sufficient quantities of vaccine doses to launch the campaign, according to a press release from the Royal Cabinet.
This vaccination campaign will be free of charge in accordance with the royal instructions for all citizens without any exception, ranging in age from 17 to over 75 years old, it is specified. This action could make it possible to reach the expected levels of collective immunity and protect the population against this pandemic, concludes the same press release.
