Morocco Launches Air Bridge to Repatriate Hundreds Stranded Abroad

Long blocked abroad, several hundred Moroccans abroad are about to return to the country. Flights are chartered from Dakar, Paris, Bordeaux, Brussels, Marseille and Rome to achieve this air bridge.
After Algeria, Spain and Turkey, Morocco is preparing to repatriate its nationals from France as early as this Tuesday, June 23rd. Two more flights are expected to follow on Wednesday and Thursday respectively from Marseille and Bordeaux.
On the same Tuesday, two flights are planned from Dakar and Brussels. Another flight is also chartered on Thursday to repatriate Moroccans from Brussels. The last flight of this air bridge is expected in Italy, also on Thursday.
All these flights operated by Royal Air Maroc (RAM) will be carried out in compliance with health measures, it is specified. To comply with the social distancing measure, only 150 people are allowed to travel per plane. In addition, all these travelers will be welcomed at Agadir airport before being taken to the hotel centers reserved for their quarantine.
