Morocco to Launch Repatriation Flights for Citizens Stranded Overseas Before Eid al-Fitr

Strict instructions would have been given to start the repatriation operation of thousands of Moroccans stranded abroad. The first flight would leave before Eid al-Fitr.
Several air and sea links would be necessary during this operation which will see the involvement of the Ministries of the Interior, Health, Foreign Affairs, and Equipment, in consultation with the National Airports Office, Royal Air Maroc as well as the high command of the Royal Gendarmerie and the General Directorate of National Security.
Rue20 recalls that the thousands of Moroccans stranded abroad will be accompanied from their host countries, where the various consular services are active in their census, until their arrival in Morocco, where they will be confined in hotels equipped with medical equipment.
A total of 30,000 Moroccans will thus be able to return to Morocco, adds the site, which specifies that very efficient medical devices will be set up at the Ceuta and Melilla crossings and the various ports of the kingdom, for the needs of screening.
