The launch date of the national vaccination campaign in Morocco is known. It will start next week, probably after the delivery of the Chinese vaccine doses, scheduled for January 27, 2021.
In a press release, the department of Khalid Ait Taleb recalled the first people targeted to receive these vaccine doses. These are healthcare professionals over the age of 40, law enforcement, public authorities, teachers as well as high-risk people over the age of 75. This campaign is also planned to start first in areas with a high rate of contamination before being extended to other areas.
The target groups and the people concerned are invited to inquire about the vaccination date via the online portal liqahcorona.ma or by message to the toll-free number 17 17, from Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 12:00 p.m., specifies the same press release.
Furthermore, other useful information could be communicated through television, radio and other information channels, adds the same document.
