Morocco’s King Sends Independence Day Greetings to Algeria, Emphasizes Shared History

On the occasion of the Independence Day of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, King Mohammed VI sent his congratulations to Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the President of the country.
Mohammed VI expressed his "warm congratulations and sincere wishes for prosperity and progress to the brotherly Algerian people".
He took the opportunity to "reiterate the solidity of the ties of brotherhood linking the Algerian and Moroccan peoples, which derives its strength from the fraternal solidarity that has marked their heroic struggle for freedom and independence, as well as their firm conviction in the unity of the common Maghreb destiny".
