Morocco’s King Mohammed VI Offers Condolences as Oman Mourns Sultan Qaboos

A message of condolences was sent by King Mohammed VI to Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tarek bin Taimur, following the death of Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur.
The Moroccan Sovereign expressed to Sultan Haitham bin Tarek, and through him, to the members of his illustrious family and the fraternal Omani people, his heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassion for this cruel loss inscribed in the inexorable destiny of God, while imploring the Almighty to grant them patience and comfort.
In his message, Mohammed VI recalled the great human qualities of Sultan Qaboos, noting that the Sultanate of Oman and the Arab and Islamic Ummah have lost a great and wise leader, who has achieved a comprehensive renaissance and significant economic and political achievements for his country.
He indeed evoked his active role in strengthening Arab and Islamic solidarity as well as in the consecration of dialogue, peace and moderation.
