Morocco’s King Mohammed VI Donates Aid to Underprivileged Families at Religious Festival

A delegation from the Royal Chamberlain’s Office made a financial donation, equipment and clothing to Moulay Driss Zerhoun, for the benefit of underprivileged families and people with disabilities. This was on the occasion of the religious Moussem of Moulay Idriss Al-Akbar, a religious, cultural and cultic event known throughout the region.
To this end, financial envelopes were distributed to some 45 beneficiaries, not to mention 10 wheelchairs for people with disabilities. Orphans and students also benefited, respectively, from medical glasses, 201 school bags and clothing.
The delegation, to bring these donations to the needy and the sick of the city, was led by Mohamed Saad Eddine Smiej, Mission Officer at the Royal Chamberlain’s Office, reports the newspaper Le Matin.
